Find Your Ground
A 4-Week Nervous System Regulation Journey of Therapeutic Yoga through the Koshas
In yoga philosophy, the koshas describe five interconnected layers of our human experience ~ body, breath, mind, wisdom, and integration.
When stress accumulates, these layers lose coherence; The body tightens. Breath shortens. Thoughts accelerate. Energy fluctuates. We feel ungrounded.
When these layers begin to work together again, the nervous system becomes more flexible and resilient.
Rather than working only with the body, this series gently supports regulation through:
Physical self ~ grounding and physical stability
Breath self ~ regulating the nervous system
Mind/Emotional self ~ awareness of stress patterns•
Intuitive self ~ developing choice and discernment
Connected Self ~ deep rest and integration
Find Your Ground is a 4-week small-group program designed to gently rebuild nervous system regulation through body/mind/breath-based practices drawn from yoga therapy and contemporary nervous system science.
This is not a general yoga class. It is a therapeutic, trauma-informed space to rebuild capacity from the inside out.
What will I receive?
4 x 90-minute Yoga Therapy-Informed Sessions, carefully designed to meet and support each participants needs.
Each week will build on the previous session and short home practices (including handouts) will be offered to consolidate each week’s experiences.
Participants will be asked to fill in a short client intake form so I can best support you as an individual within the group container.
How the Series Unfolds
Week 1 – Annamaya Kosha ~ The Physical Layer: Finding Stability
We begin with the body.
Through slow, predictable movement and grounding practices, we establish cues of safety and support. When the body feels supported, the nervous system begins to soften.
Week 2 – Pranamaya Kosha ~ The Breath Layer: Regulating Activation
Understanding how breath influences the autonomic nervous system, we explore rhythm, pacing, and capacity to support regulation ~ recognising ‘too much’ and ‘just enough’.
Week 3 – Manomaya Kosha ~ The Emotional & Mental Layer: Expanding Capacity
This session we build interoceptive awareness ~ the ability to notice internal sensations safely and increase tolerance for activation without overwhelm.
Week 4 – Vijnanamaya & Anandamaya Kosha: Wisdom and Integration
In our final session, we link body, breath, and awareness into a sustainable personal regulation practice.
Consolidating learned practices and finishing with Yoga Nidra ~ body-based meditation to allow for integration.
